Calling all young molecular biologists and biochemists!

April 9, 2012 § Leave a comment

Heads up, biochemists and molecular biologists who are either graduate students or postdoctoral fellows! The American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is now conducting a survey on you and your fellow mates. The society wants to collect data about career development for young scientists and see how various factors, both personal and professional, influence career decisions and directions.

And, if you help ASBMB collect the data, you can enter a drawing to win a $25 Amazon.com gift certificate!

The data from this survey will add to data collected from two broader surveys in 2011. Those surveys looked into career development of academic biochemists and molecular biologists. The society hopes that this new survey will give ASBMB a better idea of the needs of molecular biologists and biochemists at the brink of their independent careers.

You will remain anonymous in the survey as you share your experiences. It will take no longer than 10-15 minutes of your time and will remain open till Friday, April 13. Take the survey here.
